Cold White

Bosco was certain he was being followed. It didn't help that he was paranoid in the first place. The other two loved olive oil on their kibbles but Bosco thought the risk of being poisoned was too great. Other than this little piece of weirdness, he was about as level headed fellow as a person could ask. He worried about his picture appearing in the blog for fear some mysterious somebody would execute their will against him. It was like Joe E. Brown said to Jack Lemmon at the end of "Some Like It Hot:" "Nobody's perfect."

Kiko was a nuisance that Milla tolerated sometimes.

Way Cold

Nobody liked to go outside at twenty below to pee. It was enough to make a self-respecting Basenji indignant. But, there it was. Bosco, Milla, and Kiko had grown increasingly evasive when it came time to go outside. They weren't fools. They knew what was happening when people started asking them if they wanted to go outside. Luckily, they were sweet little people with a goodly history of taking their business outside. Waiting for spring. Have a lovely week.

Still Cold

That would be Dawn, of course.

Still Cold

The cold is sometimes hard not to take personally. This is our second year offering the "Weird Little Dudes" calendar. (I always misspell calendar) If you want one, say so. They're free, just like calendars once were. But don't let that influence you. You can pay if you have a lot of money.

Blog Star

Cold

Congo dogs took to the snow when dragged to the door by their collars and pushed out. Bosco's coat got longer but Milla and Kiko (Squeak-o for his habit of squeaking when disturbed) were less fortunate. They quickly did their dog business, and were soon standing up against the door strumming the glass with their toes. Winter was getting old, but it was already the new year and the short, cold days were getting longer and warmer. Wishing everyone a happy new year, I remain warmly yours.
