Rejoining the world. Shunned by the world for indulging an appetite for unilaterally rogue behavior, America was hailed for the good sense to elect Barack Obama just in time to do damage control on the carnage created by two previous administrations. The Republicans had not shoveled out the horse barn for eight years, and now it fell to the Democrats to clean up the mess.
