Snow
Talks had begun about adopting a third Basenji. Once talks began, things have moved quickly in the past. Kintu was a rescue Basenji. Milla was an adoption from Colorado Basenji Rescue in Denver. Snow kept falling but Milla and Bosco took it in stride. Basenjis demanded a much greater intimacy than most dogs. They demanded a relationship with their people that most dogs never considered demanding. Labeled "untrainable" by some, they simply refused to be used for the amusement of others. If you threw a ball, they assumed you wanted to get rid of it, and there was nothing to be gained by bringing it back. A neglected Basenji got the attention they sought through misbehavior.
