Everywhere the child went, the Basenji was sure to follow. They were small, like a good game animal. They seemed slow enough to knock down. Best of all, they lacked even the basic tearing and biting apparatus. But the Basenjis understood they could not start eating things while they were still alive. Still, one had to admire the Basenjis for enthusiasm and ambition, and they meant well. More next week.
